Biarritz or Anglet Accommodation?

Hey, 2 Irish guys (28) coming over to Biarritz for a week in June. Any recommendations on whether we should stay in Biarritz or Anglet? We're not big surfers but intend to do a little and just want to be by the sea. Also, Any recommendations on accommodation on the beach in either location? Not studio apartments. Cheers
