We are considering a self drive safari in Namibia in September and have thought of driving from Windhoek and finishing in Kasane in Botswana, I know the rental companies will charge a one fee but I wondered if anyone has done this trip and what the roads are like to the North along Caprivi. Also are there any major issues crossing the borders into Botswana and Zambia. I would love to hear from someone who has done this trip or if anyone knows of a books or video on the subject of travelling in that particular area.
