Hi We are arriving to Berlin in Bus at Kaiserdamm U-banh station. We are taking the U-bahn to our hotel and would like to buy a travelcard for a week. But I can´t remember if we can use Euro bills in the ticket machines as we will not have any coins at that point? Or is there a ticket office on that station? Thanks in advance :-)
Hi You can buy the weekly ticket '7-Tage-Karte VBB-Umweltkarte' with notes in the machines. You can only purchase the 7 day card from either a U-bahn ticket office or a machine there ie not on a bus or tram. Kaiserdamm U-bahn doesn't have a ticket office. Sorry, without going back a step I can't see where you're from but ytou can also use a bank card from the EC to pay in these machines too. More info here, in English; bvg.de/index.php/en/17183/na...

I don't think there is a ticket office. Out of four ticket machines, you'll probably find at the station, two will accept bills.
