You'll be a day late for the Herring Party on June 9th.
But if you like carnivals, you'll have to come to Antwerp for the start of the annual big Pentecost Carnival (Sinksenfoor) on July 11th. A 30 minutes drive from Bergen op Zoom. Not to miss!!!

There are also train connections between both cities.

This is Pentecost weekend, which means a Bank Holiday on Monday 13th.
    There's a horse show on. I didn't see any dance party's.

If there is nothing to do at Bergen op Zoom that you like, you can opt for a train ride and go to Breda, Antwerp, Rotterdam or Den Bosch.

I'm sure one of these cities has something to offer.

BTW What are you looking for?

The 'Markiezenhof' is a really wonderful city palace/museum. And you can easily spend a few hours on the market square just watching people and sampling beer and food :-)
