We are trying to book the train from Oslo to Bergen on June 9th .
The info is very poor and the online system won't take the booking request.
How should we book
Thanks

Hmmm, strange, I just tried too but the calendar doesn't won't to accept a date after May. Maybe it's not possible to book it more then 3 months earlier...
When I did it it was a month earlier and I got the best price so don't worry if you can't do it now. I'm sure that 1-2 months earlier will be also ok.

Might be because they haven't set up their summer schedules yet...

There are very few trains in Europe where you can book more than 90 days in advance. And usually booking that far in advance is not necessary.
Trains are not like planes. It is absolutely not necessary to book them that far in advance. You could turn up at Oslo main station right now, book a ticket and leave on the next train to Bergen.
However, to take advantage of NSB's "minipris" tariff you need to book at least one day in advance. So you can just wait till you're in Oslo, and buy your ticket there a few day beforehand.

I would say book more than a few days in advance. There are several levels of "minipris" pricing. To get the best deal, book early. But as stated here, you can't too far in advance
