I will go to Berastagi in April 28 - 30, how can I get there from Medan? How much for the transportation if we ( 3 pax ) rent a taxi from Medan and Berastagi? Which hotel is better for seeing the Valcano and hot spring? Thanks.
Hi, Just catch a local bus about 10,000-20,000 rupiah each, lots of buses move between Medan and Brestagi. Much cheaper than gettiing taxi. I do not think it matters where you stay because you will need transport to see the volcano and hot springs from Brestagi. Best back packer accomodation is Wisma Subayak. Pamela
