I'm looking for an economical and pleasant way to take day trip from bequia to Tobago Cays. Also, I have a 16 year old son that wants to go fishingwith a local fisherman in a small boat (again, economically.) Thanks for any help!
There are some Day sails on Catamarans and sailboats from Bequia to the Tobago Cays. I would suggest checking out any of the Bequia websites and see if you can get intouch with someone there to see about arranging it. Economical?? not sure, but worth a look. enjoy

Friendship Rose ($100 per person) is your best bet at this time for a trip to the Cays (worth every penny). For fishing with local fishermen, I would check with some of the guys in Lower Bay who go our every morning. Start looking for leads by talking to Nando of Nando's Hideaway. You can also fish from the beach and will catch small mahogany snapper, grunts and the like.
