Hi, I'm thinking of booking a holiday at the Sunset Beach Club apartments in Benalmadena in mid August for 10 days. I like to travel around a bit when I'm on holiday so usually hire a car. Is it best to hire a car from Malaga airport or should I pay for transfer to the resort and then think about car hire once I'm in the resport? What is Parking like at the Sunset beach apartments and surrounding area? Many Thanks

I am currently staying in the far west of Benalmadena it’s a 13 Euro ride into town so I normally catch the 120 bus as its only 1.30 Euros. However, I want to go to the train station, which is some distance from the 120 bus service along the coast road about a 30 minutes walk uphill. If I catch the 120 bus along the coast can anyone tell me the local bus that I need to catch? Alternatively would it be better to catch the 120 into Torremolinos and then the train into Malaga? Could someone please tell me how far the Marina is from the 24 hour square, hoping to visit Benalmadne at Easter?

I have booked a holiday here during the Christmas week. Now I am slightly worried that there will be nothing to do here at this time. Will everything be open ? Also will there be things to do? We were hoping to go on some day trips. I am particularly interested in the shopping as well. I heard there are great markets there but will they be open that time of year? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!!! Also I have received mixed reviews about the weather at this time of year. Some people have told me it will be raining, others have said it'll be nice and warm, maybe 19-20 degrees. Not sure which to believe!!!

We are staying at the Hotel Holiday Polynesia in a few weeks. What would you suggest is the best way to get there from the Malaga airport? We don't want to have to do too many transfers since we'll have quite a bit of luggage with us. Thanks, Trudy

I am going to be staying at the Sunset Beach in Benalmadena the first week of August and just wanted to know how far/close I am tomost amenities. Hi, We will be in the Flatotel International the last week of August. Any suggestions about where to go with eleven people (five kids between 9 and 16 included)? We hope to rent a big van and see some of Andalucia. Perhaps a trip to Gibraltar and/or Tangiers. We will probably travel for about 4-5 of the 8 days and use the hotel as a base. Hi, i am going to Benalmadena in September, i dont know which hotel to pick between , The Best Hotel Siroco or The San Fermin, i believe there is another hotel called the Siroco that is quite bad, but i am looking at the Best Siroco, can anyone advise, also are there any trips to Gibralter at that time of year, i have been to Benalmadena before, about 20yrs ago, so it will have changed. When we were on holiday in Benalmadena last year, we were told of a weekly bus ticket which would save money on local travel as we were staying out at Torrquebrada. Is this the "bono" ticket I have read about on your site and if so, can we buy it in advance or only in the town?
