Looking for a recommendation on a hacienda style guest house or a small family run hotel... Thanks
Belo Horizonte is a city, a substantially sized one. No farms or farm style accomodations there. How far are you willing to travel to find one, and have you ever had experience driving in Brazil, as most are not accessible by public transport? Or are you looking for a pousada (B&B style accomodation)in the city itself? (Maybe finally our resident mavin on all things bright and beautiful can make himself actually useful regarding his own backyard.)

Thanks Bahiana. I think the word I was looking for is Posada. They are charming and I have stayed in such places in urban areas of Latin America. I will be in BH for 2 nights and the main purpose is to see the city. But I don't want a place with floors, corridors and elevators. Thanks again, obrigado!
