I'm travelling to Sao Paulo in June 2014, staying three nights. I have heard that the Jardins Area and Paulista Avenue areas are very good. Could anyone else give me any pointers and maybe some cross sections of roads to enable me to narrow down my search. Also looking for an apartment to rent in these kind of areas for three nights.
I appreciate any advice.
is the 'Prive' restaurant still in existent?
if so who is the owner and contact number?
I'm travelling to Belo Horizonte for the World Cup in June and looking for an apartment to rent for 5 or 6 nights. Could anyone else give me any pointers and maybe some cross sections of roads to enable me to narrow down my search in the Savassi & Functionarios areas. I believe these are safer areas and also they are full of bars, restaurants, night clubs, etc.
Any advice appreciated.
I will be in Florianopolis in a couple of days with my wife. We might spend here up to a week.
We look for a quiet and nice beach. No concrete buildings, not many people. If possible with some nature surrounding us. No need for nightlife (just maybe some nice places to eat, have a drink and meet nice people.)
Accomodation, which preferably is simple and relaxed like bamboo huts and hammocks. (well, we are used to travel in southeast asia ;-)
We don't have a car to get there.
Thanks for your tips, hope there is a little paradise like this in Florianopolis.
Kind regards, Bruno
My question is: Is it possible too get a bus ticket from Foz do Iguacu (Brazil) to Puerto Iguazú (Argentina) online, forwards my traveling? So I can take this bus ticket as a proof of leaving Brazil at the duane when I enter Brazil? If yes, do you recommend a website? If not, is there an other option for buying a bus ticket from Brazil into Argentina online?
Hi! I am looking at buying a bus ticket on costaverdetransportes.com.br... to go from Paraty to GRU (Sao Paulo), but when I try to buy the ticket, I am asked to create an account with a CPF number. How do I buy a ticket if I don't have a CPF number?
I am traveling with my father and brother this summer for the world cup next june. We will be staying 17 days and would like to know what neighborhoods should I avoid and which ones are the safest. I heard Beria mar is a good area.
Thanks for letting me know!
I'll visit Paraty and need to transfer to Sao Paulo GRU airport on Jan3rd.2014.I will be carrying a big back pack. So, I am looking for an easy and not expensive way of transport. What options do we have for it? Thanks.
I am going to be in Brazil off a cruise. I am looking for suggestion for private guides or good tours in the following cities -
Rio; Buzios; Salvador; Fortaleza; Santarem; Boca da Valeria (I know that this is a tine village so no guides are needed); Manaus; Alter do Chao.
Also, are any of these destinations ones where it is totally ridiculous to even think about hiring a guide or going on a tour.
In which area of the city would you suggest me to stay? I've never been in Salvador, I would like to stay in a place like Copacabana, I mean: quite safe to walk anytime, always people around, both tourists and locals, with restaurant and bars. I'll be there for business and when I came back from job in the evening I'd like to have dinners and maybe some drinks at walking distance from the hotel.
A plus would be staying not far from the north coast.
2 passengers needing to get from Aeroporto Internacional de Guarulhos to Santos (San Paulo) port. How much would this cost ?and how long will it take? We arrive at 8.30am on Saturday 21st December and need to be at the prot for between 1.30 - 15.30.
Thank you gemma
What is the most efficient way to travel to and from Recife? We will be staying in Natal and want to see at least one game in Recife during next summers World Cup. Looks like there are buses running but it doesnt appear possible to book a seat online. Is a private limo/taxi/driver service a reasonable thing to do? How much can we expect to pay?
My wife and I will be visiting Rio for 3 days in March for Carnival. Accommodations are not a problem because we will be on a cruise ship. I have been checking the websites of ticket sellers and must admit I was surprised at the cost of some of the tickets. We've decided to go to Carnival on the evening of Monday March 3rd. I would really appreciate any suggestions on which section might be best, the best way to get there from the port, what time should we figure on getting there, and what to do after the show. Just a little background: we are seniors on a budget, we are well travelled and adventurous and enjoy mixing with locals wherever we go. Having said that it would be unlikely that we'd be staying up much after 2.00am. Any suggestions and recommendations anyone can give us would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance !!
I am 20 yr old girl from India. I will be touring Rio de Janeiro in next month. I am confused in packing my bags.
I want to know what I need to wear while touring city and also at beach. I will be touring alone and will be spending 10 days in Rio. What I need to wear at Ipanema beach?
What other cloths I should take.
Thanks in advance.
All - I am travelling thru Brazil with my best friend in March. Belo Horizonte is one of our stops. Knowing very little about Belo Horizonte I was hoping that someone could give me info on where to stay, where to go (shopping/night life), and what is an absolute must do. We only have 2 day there so I am trying to maximize my stay. Thanks in advance! H-n-D :)
