hi, would like o know if traveling by bus from mexico to belize with teens is safe?

    i took the bus between mexico and belize twice and never saw anything i would say was potentially dangorous. the buss4es running there are of a pretty fine quality too. on one of my journeys there were 2 18 year old norwegian girls on the bus and they were travelling around on their own.

    Shouldn't be a problem,saw many young travellers with parents.Croosing from Chetumal to Belize was simple enough.Should be able to get a Belizian bus i think from Chetumal to Belize city.

    I too would recommend just renting a car. It will probably be cheaper and it is a fairly easy drive. more
