I will be in Belize for one full day (with a cruise ship) and have never scuba dived before. My companion has dived, but is not certified. Does anyone know of any local guides that will give me the beginner's lesson, then take us out for a few hours? If you do know of any guides, please list prices & times if available. I have attempted to email some sites I have found on the net, but with no response. Any assistance is appreciated!
I do not think there is enough time to do this in Belize from a cruise ship. The ship is too far from the normal dive shop locations. I'd say it would be better to take a ship excursion to snorkel.
