Kayak Dangriga region... living on Secluded islands...

Has anyone rented Kayaks in Dangriga region and done a kayak trip to the nearby islands? If so, how was your experience? Are there any secluded islands nearby that would be possible to live off the land for a few days? ie.. coconut trees, fishing, etc? If you've done this before, any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Eric
