I'm planning to visit belgium in May 2013, and plan to stay in Genval, my office is in Lahulpe .
Are there trains running between Genval & La hulpe.
or could you please suggest an affordable place to live studio apartment/hotel near the La hulpe area to live for 3weeks?
Is the area around safe at around 0030 hours. Arriving with wife and child and with two pieces of luggage. Can I get a taxi from there to my hotel at Hotel Belmont at Boulevard d'Anvers, 10, Brussels.
Hola viajeros. ¿Qué no debería perderme? Desde ya gracias a todos.

Hi, I'm going to be spending some time over the next three months visiting Brussels and wanted to find a private French tutor. I have a basic knowledge of the language and am looking for someone to spend a few afternoons with me a week just speaking French. Any suggestions on finding someone? Thanks!
We're trying to find a way to get from Bruges to the Netherlands in one day (this April) while also being able to stop and see Antwerp for a little bit, so we're thinking that renting a car might be the best option.
I was just wondering what are the requirements for an American to rent a car in this area and which company would be the easiest to work with / cheapest to use?
Plan would basically be to rent the car early in the morning from Bruges, drive to Antwerp, find somewhere to park for a handful of hours to go see/do a few things there, and then drive to either Rotterdam or The Hague (haven't decided which yet) to drop the car off the same night.
I know there are trains/buses that can do this route too, but we're thinking that with a car we can be on our own schedule and also have somewhere to store our bags (in the truck) while we are in Antwerp.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
At end of October we shall be in Brussels, and we have three free days. We already have been in Belgium, so we visited Brussels, Ghent, Antwerp and Bruges. We are interested to see beautiful architecture, picturesque streets, churches, castles. We shall travel by train and we would like to do day trips, probably 3 trips. I am not sure which of the below towns to visit (I have a list of 6 and need to select 3). Can you please tell me your opinion about these places , which of them is more beautiful and interesting and can be visit in a short day trip (at end of October the days are short).
1. Aachen 2. Mechelen 3. Tervuren 4. Tournai 5. Liege 6. Maastricht
Maybe have you other suggestions about nice towns to be visited?
One more question: I see that in Belgium there are train tickets for seniors. If we are not from Belgium or from Europe, can we still buy those tickets?
I know this can be done but I'd appreciate a link to a timetable. Please don't direct me to the official website as I've spent half a frustrating hour being told my input is unclear or there is no service that day...... TIA
so i am in belgium and i bought a deactivated grenade. i am travelling back to london tomorrow from luxembourg airport on british airways. I have hold luggage as well as hand luggage. can I put my deactivated grenade in hold luggage? or will it be confiscated?
Hi, I am going to a concert at the Sportspaleis on a Wednesday evening. The concert starts at 20.30 but I am unsure when it will finish...I suppose it will be around 23.30/midnight at the latest.
Does anyone know if I can be sure to get back to Brussels via train that late? Will I be OK to get tram from Sportspaleis and then train from Antwerp Centraal in time (bearing in mind additional crowds, waiting times etc.?
Any advice would be very helpful. Thanks
where can me and wife find a room to stay four to six months?

I want to walk around and see things Sunday and I want a good room for a good nights sleep Sunday night. Thanks for any advice.

Hello, I am coming to Leuven for a week and I like dancing salsa (or at times other Latino American dances). Tried to google but didn't find anything of use. Is there any place that organises Latino American dancing evenings (either when they only play Latino music or when at the beginning of the evening they give a lesson of dancing and the rest of the evening everyone dances as they wish) or specifically Salsa evenings? Otherwise, if nothing Latino American, or specifically Salsa doesn't exist, is there any other place in Leuven which organizes some kind of a dance lesson and then after that, the rest of the evening it's simply the disco? thank you for the answers in advance. P.S. I will be in Leuven from Tuesday to Monday.
I hope to travel to Antwerp with my daughter in October 2013. I want an hotel that is convenient to the centre for shopping and also for travel to and from Brussels Airport. We hope to go to the Sportpaleis for a gymnastic competition. My questions are 1. Is it easy to get from Brussels airport to Antwerp by public transport and 2. Is the Sportpaleis/ Lotto centre far from the centre of Antwerp Many thanks in advance Redheadireland
I would like to take a trip by train to Brugge, but would like to leave my luggage in Amsterdam so I'm not encumbered on the train. I would spend 1 night in Brugge before returning to Amsterdam to embark on a cruise. Is there a way to accomplish this.
Arriving in Amsterdam, and would like to take an overnight tour to Brugge, before going back to Amsterdam. Has anyone done this?
Does anyone know where exactly this place is located in Liege. And, can we get inside of this abondand building?

Is there such a thing in Brussels? If so lead me to it. My friend and I are thinking of a a trip to Belgium (Brussels, Antwerp, Bruges, and Ghent) and possibly staying in Brussels if that is cheaper, and maybe a night or two in Bruges. We would like to stay in a B&B that has a cozy old-fashioned athmosphere, but are on a budget so the cheaper the better. Thanks.
