Hi, I had my eyes done this year at the wellness clinic in Genk, I have before and after pics, I found them totally unprofessional, they did not wash me after they cut me the first time and my girlfriend that drove me had to endure blood dripping down my face as she drove me home. She was not happy, they gave us no instructions about after care and she had to go to the schumacker web site in Scheveningen to find out what she should do. The wellness clinic told me that my local doctor could take my stitches out, I went to my doctor and two doctors tried but the stitches were so weird that they said I should go back to Belgium to the doctor that stitched me, another 6 hour round trip... I live in Den Haag, Netherlands. I went back to Belgium and the male nurse there managed to take out the stitches with some considerable pain, he then looked at my eyes and said the top lids really needed to be done again, I also had considerable swelling on the bottom lid on my left eye. He then made an appointment for me to go back and have the work done. I arrived, again driven by my girlfriend who, is a nurse, to find that they did not do surgery on that day and that the doctor who had done the original surgery only wanted to ask what my complaint was and was not interested in correcting it at that time, his tone was quite abusive when I complained about my reatment. I got the impression from the guy that he thought, as a cosmetic surgeon, he was a higher life form than the rest of us, I soon put him in his place, I am no big deal but I have been programming computers around the world for 25 years and I know that I'm just an ordinary guy. I will not go back to the Wellness Clinic just in case they do more damage than they have already done, I still have scars on both my lower eyelids. The pictures they show on their adverts look really good, I wish I had had the surgeon who had caried out that surgery, unfortunately I got doctor death, as my girlfriend and I now refer to him as. There were two different doctors involved in my surgery, the first one... 'doctor death' got it wrong, cut me, left me bleeding with a swollen left eye and said goodbye, he was then totally abusive when I complained, thinking he was god. The second doctor cut me and left me with scars on my lower eyelids, which I still have after 5 months, I hope they will go but I'm not holding my breath, After this surgery I asked the nurse to wash my eyes properly so she walked me to a hand basin and splashed water on my face and rubbed me with a towel. When I got home my girlfriend, my personal nurse, bathed my eyes in salt water which was recommended by schumacker in Scheveningen Netherlands. I have scars now on both my lower eyelides, ok the bags have gone but at what price? I chose the wellness clinic because of the price, how stupid was I when you are talking about your looks for the rest of your life!!! I recommend you save your money a little longer and go to a guy like schumacker. With all the driving to belgium and back it would have cost me the same in the long run and I would have had a proffesional job done, right the first time with no scars. The irony to my story is that I now live in Scheveningen but then I can´t turn back the clock, I wish I could. i think its difficult to reccommend a clinc/surgeon as all seem to have crap results at times. i know...i did.?

Liposuction was performed at the Wellness Kliniek in Genk, Belgium, and I only have good things to say about the surgery, the surgeons, nurses and the procedure used. Actually, the whole experience was impressive. I've read in other areas where people were not happy with the results, for whatever reasons, however I show another face of the coin and can only recomend the clinic based on my experience.
