I'm planning to visit belgium in May 2013, and plan to stay in Genval, my office is in Lahulpe .
Are there trains running between Genval & La hulpe.

or could you please suggest an affordable place to live studio apartment/hotel near the La hulpe area to live for 3weeks?

The towns are right next to each other. But there is a local train you can take one stop (less than 2km) if you wish.

Less than 2 kms? Rent a bike for the duration! Enjoy :-)

You could also take a public bus (TEC bus 366) from Genval Station (150m walk from your address) to LA HULPE Trois Colonnes (250m walk from your address). infotec.be/index.aspx?PageId...

Martin's Manoir looks very good! I've seen that the their 'sister' hotel in Genval (Chateau du Lac) does bicycle rent so if you email Martin's Manoir, they may be able to provide you with a bike.
If it's not free (it sometimes is when you rent a room), it should cost around 8 euro a day or 35 euro per week.
