I'll need to spend a night in a B&B in Belfast before catching a ferry from the Victoria Terminal on West Bank Road. Any advice, please, on what area of the city to look in, or, better still, any recommendations? (I've lived and worked in cities with docks areas, and they aren't always the best areas to spend the night!)
I got your PM, I'm not so familiar with that side of town if I'm honest. I would say the Antrim road would be a safe bet for somewhere that is safe and nice to stay. It's quite a pleasant area, near to the city centre, the ferries and the zoo. As you say, the docks aren't always near the best places to live and while this road is a little bit out of the way, I'd say it's worth it. Plus it is would have more in the way of B & B's Hope this helps!

A few years ago we went by bus from Letterkenny to Derry,,,,there is no train across....We just went to the bus station... more
