legitimate overnight massage/sauna in Beijing

by rejslu Online Now Jan 15, 2011 at 1:34 AM

A pleasant day to everyone...we will be arriving in beijing in the wee hours of the morning...at around 1:am ...could you recommend to me legitimate overnight massage or sauna places near the forbidden city where we can stay before checking in at our hotel in the afternoon...I just think it would be a better idea spending for a relaxing time in the spa rather than booking for the hotel the whole day...what do you think? thank you in advance for your opinions and suggestions

You will already be exhausted, check into a cheaper hotel instead, maybe a hostel....After the long flights and hours in a airport...wasting time and money, the worst you could do is try to save money by staying up all night in a city you do not know. Below is a good hostel in the city for 10 euros a night, that is the same as a massage and sauna and is more legitimate than your idea. You can not stay in a spa for hours in a day and they are not open 24 hours... You can book it on hostelbookings.com tell them your arrival time and late check in 9 Dragons House(Xinmao Hostel) No.78, Dongsi Jiutiao, , Dongcheng District, Beijing, China 100007 Just the thoughts of traveling zombies reminds me how silly people are to save a dollar. cheers Tommy x

I am also interested to stay in spa and have a massage. Did you eventually find one? Would be great to have a massage after climbing great wall. How is 9 Dragons House? Got mixed review on this hostel. Would like to stay there mid Jun. Would you recommend that I booked a day 1st and extend my stay when I am back from Great Wall?
