we holiday L'Atlantique /Beg-Meil southern Brittany in august 26th im getting concerned as to what to do when we get there with children 4 and 7 I wonder what is there Can any one give me ideas it is keycamp but thst may not be enough we go for 10 nights love any ideas pls ie places ie places to buy food etc days out other than the beach please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! getting worried now !
I stayed in a gite in Beg Meil a few years back. It was mid-July, and there were a few entertainment events on in the village. There are shops in BM (it isn't a tiny village), but you'll find more at Benodet and Fouesnant. Quimper is the nearest large town, worth a stroll around. There's a ferry from BM across the bay to Concarneau in the summer, and there are river boat trips from Benodet, also sea trips to the Iles de Glenan. Our lot enjoyed themselves (preferred the beaches towards Cap Coz from BM thanks to rockpools) - good, relaxing seaside stuff ! Dunx
