We are visiting Beaune on a Monday and would like a recommendation for lunch or early dinner at an establishment serving traditional Burgundian fare. Does anyone have a suggestion?
We enjoyed both L’Auberge Bourguignonne, http://www.auberge-bourguignonne.fr/ and Le Fleury, http://www.restaurant-beaune.com/ Le Fleury is in the very center of Old Town Beaune so might be easier to find. L’Auberge Bourguignonne is just outside of the Old Town on Place Madeleine and an easy walk. There is ample parking in the square of Pl. Madeleine if you have a car. Here is a link to my Beaune restaurant Tips. There are several but the two above are favorites of ours. The food was excellent and the service outstanding. The prices are very reasonable, particularly at l’Auberge Bourguignonne. Beaune Restaurant Tips by Beausoleil I hope you enjoy Beaune; it’s one of our favorite towns in France.
