When is the best time to see the lavander fields in full flower in the Luberon region of Provence? I'm going this year. Is week of 6th to 13th July too early? Thankyou VT friends.
Hi - Can anyone offer me a lift from Nice Airport to St Tropez on 3 May at around 5pm?
Thanks much.

I am having a difficult time figuring out how to get to Roquebrune-Cap-Martin via train and end in the town proper. I am trying to get down to Le Corbusier's Le Cabanon. What is the station precisely called and who services it?
I want to buy SIM card of orange, but where is the nearest shop/store selling orange SIM from the place around Jardins de la Pinede or Square Franck Jay Gould?
Hi all, Can I use the "1 day pass" to take bus 100, 82 and 400? Thanks.
Husband and I, late 60's, will be here May 22-27, staying at hotel in town, near the beach. Wonder if car is good idea. Is traffic a problem? Parking? We will be coming from Avignon. We do want to ride horses in marshes, also take paddle boat tour. Do we need car to access these? Merci!
hello to everyone,
Is it better idea to visit Cannes before Festival?
We will arrive to Nice on 14/5. And i would like to minimaze chances of traffic jams (we rent a car) and get less elbowed.
Any chance to park a car and have a plesant walk on 14/5
thank you in advance

My wifeand I will be traveling with another couple and visiting Nice for 5-6 days in September, then 4 days in Florence. Any suggestions on what to see? We will have a car in Nice for day trips but want to do it at a leisurely pace. In Florence we will be on the train.
Hi,
I am arriving into Montpellier on Sunday evening, and need to be in Nice by Friday evening - what are the best things you would recommend I do and the nicest towns along the route?
Is Montpellier worth staying in? Should I just head to Avignon and spend my time around there? Is Marseille worth visiting given my short time?
Hi all,
Group of young women visiting Nice early July and hoping to stay in a central location close to shops, historic/cultural sites, bars/restaurants in the evening and relatively easy access to a beach. Will only be staying for two nights so would prefer to spend less time travelling and more time doing and making the most of the town.
What areas would you recommend - so far I have been recommended 'Promenade des anglais' or the 'old town'?
Kind Regards
hello! i'm renting a car for my trip in Provence and I have 2 qns..
1. I'm taking a train from Paris and arriving at Aix-en-Provence TGV. Is there a difference between Aix-En-Provence TGV and Aix-En-Provence Gare TGV? Is this the same place?
Reason i'm asking is because I was on autoeurope and there were 2 stations under Aix-en-Provence TGV. Strange.
2. Is it practical to rent an electric car? (Citroen C-Zero). Its a lot cheaper but i'm just wondering if i'll have any issues with the charging, especially if we're driving from village to village.. not sure how accessible are charging stations over in Provence.
Any help would be hugely appreciated, thanks!
We're thinking about taking the TGV from CDG to Aix-en-Provence when we go to Paris next spring. We'll stay there for 3 days and head back to Paris for 5 days. Does this seem reasonable or too rushed?
