Hello: We are staying in Bayeux, France this coming March. I would like to find out about the bus and train transportation services to and from Bayeux (ie. Cherbourg, Caen, etc.). Any help will be appreciated. Thank you, Floyd Walters
Trying to find out about bus travel in France can be a nightmare. Trains are well organised country-wide but bus routes are very local, and finding out on-line about buses that cross department boundaries would be nigh on impossible if it weren't for this excellent website Buses - normandy.angloinfo.com/infor... Agreed and the quality of information on the departmental websites varies from the excellent to the absolutely non-existent! (There are to all intents and purposes no bus services in many of the more rural parts of France.)
