In Bayeux I will visit the cathedral and the tapestry. I would like to know where in town to look for nearby car parking - I assume that tour buses park somewhere near these sites. Would anyone where I could research Bayeux car parking, instead of driving around town once I’m there? Thanks in advance.
We drove into Bayeaux about noon and had no problem finding street parking. I seem to recall finding a parking machine and paying for a few hours and putting the receipt in the car. I also noted there were some parking facilities by the Cathedral. The Tapestry is totally cool if you are in to history. Pick up the book 1066, The Hidden History of the Bayeau Tapestry. Cheers, Karl
