Hi VTers, I shall be at the above village which is very close to the Czech border. Has anyone been there or are there fellow VTers living here. Any suggestions regarding anything would be considered invaluable and appreciated. I know I can do day trips into the Czech republic and other parts of Germany and Austria by bus and train. Any one knows of any website on buses into czech republic?many thaks

Thank you, Alaba.Do you know how to get to Cesky Krumlov from Bayerische Eisenstein. I tried the railway link you gave me but there is no direct connection and they dont even tell me how to get there by a via route.

I get connections with for tomorrow with http://jizdnirady.idnes.cz Did check this already before my last answer. Did not mentioned Cesky Krumlow as destination as the connections are really poor.
