Can someone please help me as to where Crystal Inn hotel is, in relation to Jalan Jenang in Batu Pahat? I have a relative living in Jalan Jenang and I want to stay in a hotel close to Jalan Jenang. Also, are there local taxi service available to catch from Crystal Inn to anywhere in Batu Pahat? I am a young woman travelling alone. Just trying to keep safe. Thank you

can someone tell me what is the most convenient way to get back from Batu Pahat on Sunday as Hasry Express doesnt have a return trip for me. Looking forward to a reply as I have to take a friend there to visit someone. This is my first time there, and I will be leaving at 8am Sat and thanks to your posting, will check out Garden Hotel and book it once I get there.

Hi Can anyone tell me the name of the religious site 8-9 km outside Batu Pahat. You drive up a small mountain and is situated right on the water (Malacca Staits?). Is it Minyak Beru? I was there but my Malaysian friend driving did not know the name. The shrines were beautiful though the village they were located in might be considered a bit rough. Thanks for your help.

Which exit to use if I am driving from Singapore? I know there's Ayer Hitam exit but seem most buses (if I remember clearly) goes to Yong Peng. Yong Peng exit is Selatan or Utara? I suppose the roads at Yong Peng exit is better?

Other than eating, what can i do in Batu Pahat? What are the places of interest? i think i have got a day and a night to spare in Batu Pahat. i appreciate any suggestions, no matter how trivial it is. that's the way to travel.... thanks.

Going there for the first time by public coach from JB, need to know more about food, cheap and clean accommodation for 1 night and places of interests around city centre. Any other recommendations?
