    • First Week of July.

      Denver Apr 25, 2013 at 12:43 PM

A few friends and I are vacationing out to Denver and need some insight on the best place to stay for guys in there early 20s. Specifically an area with a good vibe and nightlife. I heard downtown denver is good place to research.

We plan on hiking, going to coors field, and Red Rocks amphitheater. Any other ideas for things to do would also be great!

      Thanks!

    • 3 Days in Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs Apr 27, 2013 at 2:22 PM

I am going to spend 3 full days in Colorado Springs starting from May 26. Is it possible to see the following places during 3 days: Garden of the Gods, Royal Gorge Brige, Pikes Peak, Cave of the winds, Manitou Cliff Dwellings, Cripple creak railroad, Miramont Castle and Seven Falls. I would be very grateful if somebody could advice optimum itinerary.
      Thank you in advance

      Any Boulder Locals still around?

      Boulder Apr 23, 2013 at 7:22 AM

Hi, I'm booking a trip to boulder area in mid June (some business, some fun). Considering relocation options (before they are forced on me) and I would love to have a relaxed conversation with some local residents about the area. So I guess the first step is to ask: Are there any VT locals still active around Boulder that would like to have lunch/dinner/drinks and share a little knowledge about the area? Hope so!

    • Basalt , The Frying Pan and Rileys @ Rudi was my Home.

While growing up in Colorado in the 50's-80's I spent many of those years in the Basalt and Reileys Ranch along the Frying Pan, even before the resivior was built, and learned how to fish the river and even to this day, Still consider the area my Home away from Home. Can any of your members send mew pictures of the river as it now looks from Basalt to the resivior (Rudi) and also reserch a place I used to stay with my dad, called Reilys Ranch along the tiver about 10 miles (I think) from Basalt. I would also like to know if anyone remembers the Lucksinger family that had a lake and a parcel of ranch land above the town of Basalt? I in later years learned that they sold the property to the state of Colorado and the lake was used as a hatchery for trout populations for the entire area. Would really like to know if the Lucksinger clan is even in any phone directories in the area? Thank you all very much. Roger Willis in California.
