What is public transport like in Bardolino. For example during the day how do you travel from Bardolino to the likes of Garda, Pescheria, Vernona. At night what is the transport like, last bus train? Are there taxi's what sort of price are they. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks
Hi Bill the main public transport is the bus. Look here: apt.vr.it/orari/localita_B.h... Every number near the Bardolino name is the timetable of a line passing there. But i fear that after 20pm there is not so much. During daytime, you may find (but if you prefer scenery to speed) the boats of navigarda. No regular taxi company, but every town have usually a few private taxy drivers. Just ask the local tourist office. No trains in Bardolino, but a lot of wine, of course! Ciao Francesco

bardolino sounds like a small village which I don't know. But am quite sure trains connection are well served if you need to go to Lago di Garda or Peschiera or Verona. You need to take those trains which stop in every single village (Treno Regionale). Intercity or Eurostar trains call only at big cities... I would say there are no trains late at night nor buses. Taxi... it depends of the driver... italian drivers are happy to make money out of tourists... careful!
