Hi VT member, I am going to visit Barcelona from 24 july to 28 . Id like to knonw about get to the hotel California Aurich 14 08002 from airport by public transportation ( is it a good option?) . Thanks in advance. Best regards
You need a few small denomination euro notes or coins to do this, but There is an Aerobus that leaves from outside Terminal B, just as you leave the baggage claim. The cost is approximatedly E3.50. Once aboard and on your way, you make three stops before you arrive at a major Metro transit area called Plaza Catalunya. From Plaza Catalunya you can walk the single kilometer to your hotel or you can take the metro up to Liceu stop and walk about 200 meters from there by walking SE on La Rambla Capuchins (100m), then turning left on Carrer de Ferran (100m), and onto Carrer de Raurc (20m and turn right just before a Starbucks)

My recollection of the airport bus was that it was closer to 6 euro. It certainly beats the cost of a taxi, as the airport is quite a ways out of town. Once you get to Placa Catalunia you can always take a short taxi from there to your hotel. I would not recommend the metro as you will probably walk 1/2 km inside the metro just to get to and from the train. Karl

yes, Karl is right, it is a little less than 6 euros one way and around 10 euros round trip. I found it very convenient and reliable. more about it here aerobusbcn.com/index.php/en/... Happy travel.

probably too late for the OP, but as said above the Aerobus costs 5.65€ per person one-way or 9.75€ round-trip - valid for 9 days. Just to clarify dlandt's post there are actually two separate Aerobus services, A1 for terminal 1, and A2 for Terminal 2. Important when you are catching the bus back to the airport to make sure you get the correct one. BTW Terminal B dlandt refers to is a section of Terminal 2, before the new Terminal 1 was built, what is now Terminal 2 was the airport and was split into Terminals A, B,C (now sections T2A, T2B, T2C)
