Hi there, I am a writer and I will stay in Barcelona for a while. I would like to know which landmarks would take me almost all day to visit? I want to allocate a day for each important area or landmark. Also, I need a hotel that offers discounts if I stay longer! Thanks!
Hi, I would not know where to start a plan like that! Maybe you can take a city tour after you get there and decide afterwards! How many days will you be staying? The La Rambla Boulevard is pretty well-known. La Sagrada Familia is one of Gaudi’s masterpieces. Also, if you are interested of Picasso’s experience in Barcelona, there are tours that will take you. One more thing, try their seafood!

Hello, I assume you are doing some research in Barcelona. That’s lovely! You can go to www.rihlaprime.com to see what offers they have! They usually have discounts but I am not sure for how long! Barcelona means to me: flamenco! Go to El Tablao de Carmen and Los Tarantos to watch and learn! Do not be afraid to dance! You will feel much better!

Take yourself on a Gaudi Architectural Tour. That will eat up a whole day. Park Güell (http://www.parkguell.es/en/pla/mus.php) would be a delightful place to rest after seeing the works of Gaudí. La Pedrera (Casa Milà, lapedreraeducacio.org/flash..... The roof at La Pedrera is wonderful. Casa Batlló (http://www.casabatllo.es/en) is not far from La Pedrera. What a fun house this would have been to grow up in! La Sagrada Familia (http://www.sagradafamilia.cat) is the de facto symbol of the city. It is the most visited construction sight in the world and a must-see. Palau Güell (palauguell.cat/index_en.html..., like La Pedrera, has a fantastic roof for its colorful, fanciful chimneys. Another day could be spent exploring Montjuïc. Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya is located here; it has an outstanding collection of mediaeval art collection. Take in the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc; the show begins at 19:00 in the winter and 21:00 in the summer, for a 30 min. duration. Knock around Barrio Gótico, with its fabulous cathedral and the geese in its cloisters, and quarter’s twisting, winding streets. You could couple this with exploring Las Ramblas, poking into the many shops, talking to the birds for sale along the way.
