Hello friends: I love the sound of this bus! Even though I worked in NYC for 7 years I avoided the subway as much as possible and walked to and from work. Saying that, it's a wonderful system but pretty gross in the summer! Stinky! Anyway! what kind of pass should I buy for the bus? I really don't need a bus/train combo pass. Also, have any of you used the Monserrart day trip ticket I've heard about that includes trans, food, etc? Peace and friendship! Susan
bu readin your posting I'm not sure whether you've tried the subway here in Barcelona or not. have you? if not, I think you should. there are stinkier lines than others, but generally it's ok.

Depending on how much you intend to travel during your stay, something such as the T-10 might be useful. It allows 10 trips (any length) and is valid until you use the last journey - all for just 6 Euros. Its a real bargain. You can use the ticket on rail / bus / metro best wishes
