What is the best yuppie area in Barcelona with new bars and good restaurants?

For me, the "Yuppie area" as you can say it (funny word, btw) is the neigbourhood of Gràcia. Is full of bars and chic restaurants and is one of the most popular places of the city.

Yuppie? This sounds sooooo 1990!! ;-)
Sorry I could not help... If by yuppie you mean the same as here (trendy, hype, a bit exclusive and usually expensive) it will be the "zona alta" i.e. Carrer de Santaló, some parts of Eixample, parts of El Born
Gracia is lovely but a more bohemian (a good point in my opinion, but maybe not what you're looking for. Like Rambla del Poblenou, Carrer Blai in Poblesec, Paral.lel...
In any case, as said above Barcelona has many areas and you can find good restaurants virtually everywhere.
