Going to Barbados in June for anniversary, wife would like luxury and romance. any suggestions on where to stay, nice beach, close to places to eat, etc. AI or not.
Hi,thats a nice pressie!!! The west coast is the most luxurious in Barbados,depends how much you would like to spend. If you go to a very nice hotel half board is good enough as you get a good breakfast then only a snack is needed in the daytime, dinner is excellent and you can also just get breakfast and buy vouchers say for every other night and go out the rest. In other parts of the island the hotels do AI as they like you to stay around the hotel because it can be quite rough at night. The beach at St James is paradise all the hotels look out onto the beach and the Lone Star restaurant is also situated nearby. We are going to the Crane at the end of the month for a few nights before leaving on a cruise. The photos look great and most of the reviews give it a thumbs up.

I would try Cobblers Cove or Coral Reef Club. Both very nice hotels. Take a look at their websites. www.coralreefbarbados.com www.cobblerscove.com
