Hi all VT member, would like to have some information about Huay Kwang area, 1. how about the night market atmosphere compare with chatchucak or pratunam market ? 2. are there any nice restaurant with authentic Thai in Huay Kwang Area. 3. We would like to stay at Emerald Hotel, any idea about this hotel ? Thank you
Can't really comment on the market, except to say that it is more the open air flea market atmosphere.
Because I live in Bangkok, I can only comment on a hotel's location. The Emerald Hotel would be a great location. It's quite near the MRT giving you plenty of city access. Siam Niramit, the best Thai cultural show in town, is nearby.
The area is filled with dining and entertainment options. You will find plenty of good Thai food. The area caters mostly Thais.
