hotel location in Central bangkok

we will be in Bangkok for only one night only and wondered if someone can help with advice on where in what area we should stay... someone suggested Siam square ... any thoughts on this!!! thanks

    novotel.com/gb/hotel-1031-no... Maybe Novotel on Siam Square is suitable for you.

    One night is not very long. I always stay on Sukhumvit at the Sheraton Grande. Great location with easy access to the BTS and Submway. What's your budget? What do you want to do/see? CM2 Nightclub in the Novotel Siam basement is a lively night spot.
