Hi, We are travelling to Hong Kong and I am wondering if there are any good websites that have good deals ,we are on a budget but I would like to get value for money .Also how many days should I put aside for the landmark cities Hong Kong ? Don't want to be rushed but don't want to stay for too long and miss out something else?.Any hidden gems in as we are not willing to follow the usual tourist tracks

You have the Thailand forum but you are asking about a Hong Kong holiday. This is the Hong Kong forum: VT Forum temporarily unavailable Thailand will be cheaper than Hong Kong if your funds are tight. Hong Kong and Taiwan Chinese come to Thailand for a cheaper holiday. Every holiday trip starts with planning a budget. When you ask for hotel advice on the Hong Kong forum also mention your price range too. Good luck.

"advice about food and weather in June and what attractions in the city of Bangkok?." * You will be going into the rainy season. But this is normal and many tourists still prefer to visit during this time of year. When it rains often the rain stops in a couple hours. Hotels are cheaper too! Weather info. Scroll to the bottom for individual cities. guidetothailand.com/thailand... Choose the city you want from this link: Thailand Travel Guide Bangkok only link: asiatraveltips.com/Thingstod... If you are coming for a long distance, like the Americas or Europe try to stay at least 2 weeks. Since you are paying for an expensive flight why not make the most of it. A few more nights in a hotel won't cost that much. If your budget is tight just use cheaper hotels. Food is cheap in Thailand unless you only choose expensive places to eat at. Many modern malls, good supermarkets, cheap transportation in Bangkok and good transportation between major cities. There is rail service and meter taxi service from the airport. Many older posts have more detail. Bangkok will be cheaper than Hong Kong. In Thailand if you want to sign on to an organized tour just visit a nearby travel agency. They will have a list of popular places to visit. They pick up from your hotel and return you there. Even a simple Google check will give you lots of quick info.
