I have a plan to visit Thailand 12to14 May 2012, Singapore 14-17 May 2012 & Malaysia 17-20 May 2012. I need a budget hotel with water / washing facility in Bathroom/toilet. I use water instead of tissues. I booked "Ambassador Hotel in Bangkok and expecting water availability in toilet. Is it OK? What places ; I can visit in 2days?
Are you talking about a bidet? I'm sure some of the higher end hotels may have bidets, other than that, I know some local places and public restrooms have the old bucket/pail next to toilet. I'm sure you can always just purchase a small bucket if that is what you prefer? Homer

Many cheap hotels have a bum sprayer next to the toilet. Is it the sprayer thing in this video that you want? youtube.com/watch?v=tR5yX11e...

Few of the high end hotels have the sprayer. Most lower end do. The midrange stays are a maybe. Don't know about the Ambassador. Outside of Bangkok,the sprayer is more common, due to Thai tourists.

Gotta have the bum sprayer. I am always disappointed when high end hotels don't have them. Send the Ambassador an email to ask. It ain't a high end hotel so it may well have the water option.
