Flooding in Bangkok

Hi VTers, What is the flooding situation in Bangkok? I'm meant to be going there on Thursday but not sure what to do - book my hostel and stay in Bangkok or consider going somehwere else straight from BKK? Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated! Thanks
