Relocation Tips and Information on Schoole

Hi, I am relocating to Bangalore from Mumbai. My office is at Airport Road. I have a son who is five years old studying in an alternate school. I wanted some information about 1. what kind of schools would be suitable for him, 2. what are the areas (in relation to both the school and the office) that I can look for staying 3. What is the cost of living there (family of four with my parents) 4. How is the daily commuting in Bangalore? Any other information/tips with regards to relocating is welcome.
