We are 2 ladies going to Bandung end of this month and need advise on the following :- 1) Sightseeing - We heard horror stories about people visiting Kawah Putih and Tangkuban Perahu being overcharged / peddlers tagging along and forcing you to buy. Is it advisable to go? If yes, can we visit both sights on the same day & which is the best day (we will be in Bandung over the weekend)? What is the price? 2) Where can we get trolley bags? 3) We want to buy good quality goods like working clothes, bags, shoes. Where should we shop? Thank you for in advance for your advice.

How much the fare of taxi if I take it from airport Bandung to downtown? If I need to negotiate, how much should I start to bargain ( I don't want to get them mad with ridiculous negotiate) 2. Is better to rent a car or just used the public transportation? Again, how much should I start bargain ? Hi, I will be going for work related trip held at the above hotel., sometime in March. I have never been to Bandung or Indonesia before. Afew family members want to come along and want to shop till they drop while I am at the conference. we have 3 days in Bandung. My questions are: is this hotel near to the factory outlets? Is it better to stay at a different hotel nearer to the shops and then I make arrangements for transport to the Golden flower hotel? Hi,all, I'm planning to travel from jakarta to bandung on 2nd Oct. Confused about how can i get to Bandung from JKT Airport. Heard that there are vans or buses to bandung near the airport,could anyone please kindly let me know the comfort,cost and safety and also give me a schedule about the vans or buses? what if i choose to take a train from JKT to Bandung?would it be more costly?

Hi, I plan to go to Bandung this coming november. can anyone suggest me where can i find clothes with sulam or any place That i can order one. I know there're plenty of them in Pasar baru, but most of them are tailored made plain kebaya. what i'm more interested is printed clothes, like the clothes we can find in Malaysia (in Jakel/Gulati's/Kamdar etc.)I heard there's a place where we can send our cloth, and they can sulam them in a day. Hello all, Come to a desperate time and desperate moment, i forgot that i have a trip to bandung, indonesia next week, to make it obvious i am yet to apply work leave for this trip. Here is the things, This will be the first time i am going to Jakarta and bandung, i need a few help from the experience traveler who have been to Jakarta and bandung. 1. I will be landing to Jakarta and thinking of taking a rent car straight to bandung. However i dont have any contact for car rental for that trip. any advice?? 2. I dont have a place to stay in bandung, however i would like to have a nice accommodation with price not more than IDR150,000/nite. Can anyone tell me where to stay for such budget place, i will take my mom along and wish to stay at nice budget accomodation. which is close to shopping paradise area. 3. I have give a thought of making a day trip for seigh seeing, and one of the places i wanted to go is, kawah biru, i forgot what it called, its a water spring area with blue lake. and is there any other suggestion on where to go?? 4. How to get a contact number for daily car rental which can take us around for seigh seeing and my budget for that is around IDR350,000/day. anyone know someone who can rent a car for that much per day. 5.
