Hallo, I will drive from Bandar Abbas to Theran in End of Ocotober or beginning November. Which is the best and fastest route? Thank You WolfgangK
It's a very very long drive! and ofcourse you can see a lot on the way. you can either driver from Bandar Abbas to Shiraz, Isfahan , Tehran or you can go to Yazd and Kerman and then come to Tehran. If you just want to be FAST! Fly don't drive. A.

The shortest way is Bandarabas-Sirjan-Yazd-Ardakan-Naeen-Ghom-Tehran but you have to consider part of this path is not highway so you have to drive in a tiny road and sometimes behind big trucks.

Hi Wolfgang, The fastest route? See what Peyman24 suggested. But if you want to explore and do sightseeing along the road, the best route is BandarAbbas -> Shiraz -> Yazd -> Esfahan -> Kashan -> Qom -> Tehran! where maybe more than 70% of Iran must-sees will be covered. ps: it will be a long journey anyway. Thats NOTHING!!! I live in Western Australia and have driven from Perth to Broome and back twice, plus various other isolated locations around WA...all of it desert scenery...Western Australia is 10 times the size of Iran!!

It's me again! Australia is not exactly 10 times bigger than Iran! 7,741,220 Km2 / 1,648,195 Km2 = 4.6968 It's 4.7 times bigger :-)

again, She said: "Western Australia is 10 times the size of Iran!!" Azadeh, she states that only western part of Australia is 10 times of Iran, not all of Australia ... this way it could be 30 times the size of Iran!!! While the whole Australia is just 4.7 times of Iran. LoL ;))) Anyway, seems you won't get bored if driving around Iran! Do your travel plans Bunny. :) Regards, Ali

Well, So we won't see you in Tehran, as it's a very big [scary?] city where has inhabitants almost about the population of the whole your country!! (or maybe 10 times more!?) ;)) BTW, cities with only 1 street? we call them villages then! lol :) Regards, Ali
