Hi, I am thinking of going to Bamako in the summer alone. From reading the guide books and research on the internet it seems to be safe enough but I would like some advice and info from people who have been there. Am grateful for any info you can offer. Thank you.
Hi, Bamako is a reasonably safe place to be on your own. Just respect the usual things. Dress reasonbly, respect the people, don't wander around too much after dark:unless with an escort and you should be fine. Good luck
