Hi, It's great getting lots of info from members here. We will be staying around Inner Harbor area in Baltimore and plan to travel from Baltimore to Philadelphia (Reading Market area), subsequently travel from Philly to NYC ( around Penn Station) or anywhere there is a PATH station. Any suggestion for bus services that is convenient for this itinerary? That doesn't require us to travel too far from hotels to the bus terminals. How are Greyhounds, megabus or gotobus? Any other suggestions are most welcome. Thanks.
Hi Drandy. I took the Megabus from NYC to Boston in APril. It was cheap ($25 R/T), clean, and on-time. Megabus also serves Philly, Baltimore, and D.C. megabus.com I have never taken Boltbus, but I am told it is also efficient and cheap. boltbus.com Judging by each company's website, boltbus is a much bigger operation, covering northeast United States and lower Canada. While in Baltimore, check out the Fell's Point (or is it Fell's Cove?!) area, just a few miles east of the Inner Harbor. It;s very touristy, with cobblestoned streets, small shops and restaurants, and great views. Enjoy my city!

Hi - I've previously taken Greyhound and Megabus. Both good. All bus company's are pretty similar so I'd go with the least expensive. And most of them go to the same 1 or 2 bus stations with a city.

Actually Bolt and Megabus don't go to a terminal but stop on the street near the Amtrak train station at 30th and Market St. If the price is the same you will be closer to the Reading Terminal area if you take Greyhound because their terminal is at 11th and Filbert St.
