We are a couple in our sixties and need a apartment for a month to six weeks in dec/jan when our daughter has her baby. We need an apartment to rent but hopefully not at an exorbitant price. Can anyone advise us as to good plces to look. Thank you.

I'm coming to Ballarat to study. Can anyone give me an idea of how convenient it is to get around the city by bus, how safe , how costly it is and whether the buses are regular and timely. I'm trying to decide between staying on campus (mt helen) or in off campus acco . I like solitude but I'd also want to be able to travel into town easily, especially on weekends.
