I don't think so. Why do you say so?

HI! No offence meant, on the contrary to my recollection, August is still possibly peak season, coinciding with the Aussie winter. That may of course, have changed.

Hi Most hotels still have August as High season, until around middle of September. It depends on the hotel as to what dates. If the hotel usually gets mostly Australian guests then they keep the high season until the holidays fininsh in Australia. If they get mostly Japanese or Thai for example they will keep the season until their holiday is fininshed. Same applies to your last question about cheap airlines from Singapore, you will probably find that they are still charging high season suppliments. And it is also possible that there will be a fuel surcharge also, be carefull, to check the price and any hidden charges that may be made later.

July and August is most certainly a high season in Bali. So is December. July and August fall right in the middle of our dry season, and climate change issues aside, the weather here in those two months is normally drier and cooler. They are very busy tourist months. May and June can also be great, as can be September and October. Then again, even in the wet season, November to April, Bali is great and when the rains come, it’s generally only for an hour or two...then clearing.
