Just wondering if I can use Amex travelers checks when purchasing a 30 day VOA. Can I pay for 2 together or do you have to do each visa as a separate transaction? Thanks for the help!
You can use travellers cheques to pay, and you can, pay for 2 together, but it isn't easy, and the exchange rate would be terrible, better to bring cash, it's quicker and not comnplicated. The queues for changing cheques or money into acceptable currency for paying VOA are long and slow, then you go to the back of theq ueue to get through immigration, it can take an age, just for the sake of b ringing 25$ US in cash each. During quieter seasons the time taken to get through is around 1 hour, in peak seasons, it can take up to 2 hours.
