Hotel or Villa with internet

Im a surfer looking for a 1 bedroom hotel or apartment. Secure, in a good area for a "first time in Bali guy". I will travel to surf spots so the hotel does not need to be in a surf community. I want to be centrally located to all restraunts and "hang outs". I need to work on my laptop, with a good high speed connection. I am coming febuary 15th and staying for 3 weeks. I can spend1000. Can someone recomend a hotel? Hotels are more money? thanks
