Any specific tips for Gyenesdias area near Keszthely? Will be there july 13-15. Any good spas? Hiking? Beaches?
sorry, boris. already checked your keszthely page, actually. nothing really too specific there. nice pics of sunsets though. but i wouldn't consider them tips. : )

Hello Darius, Gyenesdias has two beaches a smaller closer to Keszthely and a larger a bit more NE. You should not go to Keszthely which is more crowded. The village itself also goes up to hills so you can hike there. Or you can choose either Szigliget or Sumeg. Both has its castle on top of its hill. Other option nearby is Badacsony hill to hike and drink wine at the same time :) Concerning spas Heviz with a thermal bath is also nearby, but personally I would not take a hot bath unless weather turns to cold when you are here.
