I'm planning on doing the manaslu trek soon. But it is required to trek with two people and a guide or porter.
So if anyone is interested in a beautiful trek hardly affected by the monsoon lease contact me on martenferwerda@hotmail.com. The permit will be 50 dollars and a tims won't be required. Want to leave around the 10th but I'm flexible. I'm now in Kathmandu.

We are planning to do Mera peak in November (2 people).
When we look at the offers and costs in the Internet, it seems to be very expensive. Could you please advise whether it would be possible to arrange the trip and join any group, while we are in Kathmandu? We would have one day in Kathmandu. Do the local agencies offer better price when booking is made in Kathmandu, or it would be the same cost as they show on their websites?

This summer I want to do a trip to Nepal.
What do you think is best? Three weeks in nepal or two in Nepal and then 1 week in Goa for some sun and relaxing?
How much time will I need there? I like mild (couple of days) trekking in jungle or scenic areas. I have no intentions of climbing mount everest etc. :P I like culture, and relaxing and beautiful scenery. I also love activities like kayaking, rafting and seing wildlife.
What places and activities do you recommend?
And how are the prices? I read it is a very cheap country, but is this also true for activities like gouided hikes, kayaking etc? I checked out some websites but most of them don't show any prices on the trips they offer. and on others the priced were very high.
I don't know so much about this country and any tips are very appreaciated :)

can anyone tell me if i am arriving pokhara airport around 4pm, and intend to trek the next day, should i start looking out for a guide when i arrive pokhara? what ways do i have from the airport to nayapul? is nayapul the place i should be going after i arrive in pokhara? is it possible to trek up to Poon hill without any guide? i read that people are suggesting not to stay in nayapul but walk to Birethanti and stay there instead.
im travelling this year in oct period, do you think its safe not to book any hotels and just upon arriving search for one? i am travelling with only 1 other person, we just need clean rooms and comfy beds.
