Shalom Again !! We will be in Bakersfield, California on August 4-5. Suggestions for what to do and see there for my 15 year old daughter...I will be with a friend on a Search And Rescue simulated operation (if I can find something to occupy my daughter for a few hours ;O)) Martin

There isn't much to do in Bakersfield for a 15 YOA by themselve. I would find a movie theater and buy them a ticket. If you want to take them somewhere try the Buck Owens theater, if they like either country or western.

Thanks James, but most 15 year olds do not like Country or Western, unless it is Reagee (sorry don't know the spelling), punk rock or heavy metal.... Well maybe I will take her on the SAR with me, she does like to abseil off cliffs. Martin

What to do in Bakersfield? Drive north to Sequoia national park! Or drive west until you hit the pacific ocean.
