hi im at bahrain airport for 3 hours when i travel to india. do you think i should pay to stay in the lounge with free food and drink or just stay in the normal area. i was thinking about how much food and drink would be as in the lounge it is free. i would probably have a couple of beers and a small snack. what do you think ?
If your paying to go into a lounge then the food and drink are not really free are they? There's no such thing as a "free lunch"

hi i get your point !!! i meant would it be cheaper to do that or just buy as i want it. it is 18 bahrain dollars so about £25 uk pound. will a sandwich and a couple of beers be more or less than that as i think it will be expensive.

You only have 3 hours which is really not much time. If you looking for peace and quiet than it might be worth it to you. As far as the food is concerned, once you pay for lounge access your in, and if you don't like the assortment of food on offer then you really have not gained much in value. If it were me with that short of layover I would opt for not going into the lounge. You can always get something to eat, and people watching is so much fun.

If you have 3 hours transit time then spending £25 not worth. Bahrain airport modern airport, but India different story, a poor country the lounge will be worth it in India. Bahrain is Muslim country I did not see place where you can have a beer at the airport. Dubai airport terminal 1 has Irish pub. In Bahrain you only by duty free where you can be alcohol.
